Plan a domain warm-up
Enter the daily volume you want to reach and the day you start. You get the fastest plan the ramp allows, one step per healthy sending day.
Enter a daily volume of at least 1 and a start date.
Let the ramp run itself
Email Digit holds a new sending domain to this ramp on every campaign, moves it up only after a healthy day, and holds back the overflow instead of dropping it.
Why a new domain starts small
The plan starts at 50 emails on the first day and moves up one step after each healthy send day: 50, 100, 500, 1,000, 5,000, 10,000, 25,000, then 50,000. After eight healthy days there is no ceiling.
Who to send to first
Start with the people most likely to want the email: recent customers and anyone who clicked or replied lately. Their engagement is what builds the domain's reputation, so save the oldest part of the list for last.
Warm-up questions
Why can't I send to my whole list on day one?
Mailbox providers judge a domain by its history. A domain with none that suddenly sends thousands of emails looks like a spammer who just registered it, and the mail goes to spam or is refused. Starting small and growing on good results builds that history.
What counts as a healthy day?
In this plan, a day where bounces stay at 5% or under and spam complaints at 0.1% or under. A day above either does not move the ramp forward. Days with fewer than 20 sends count as healthy, because a single bounce out of a handful says nothing.
Do I have to send every day?
The plan assumes you do. A step only advances after a day you actually sent, so a gap pushes every later date back.
Where do these steps come from?
They are the steps Email Digit itself holds new sending domains to. Other providers use different curves; the principle, small and steady with a check on every day, is the same.
